Due to the poor weather conditions yesterday the competition was cancelled due to the greens flooding. The competition is part of the qualifier for “The London Pride Medal Competition” to be held at Woodhall Spa later in the year.
This competition will now take place on Sunday 5th July 2009.
The original date for July’s Medal was Saturday the 4th. This competition has now been cancelled.
The drawn Tee times will remain as the competition was not completed. Any new entrants who would like to play please add your name to the bottom of the list on the notice board.
Unfortunately those members who failed to show without calling the Pro shop to cancel their tee time will not be eligible to enter.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

England v’s Rest of the World Sunday 24th May
By a narrow margin the “Rest of the World” beat a defiant “England” team 4 & 3
“TREVOR MIDDLETON” TROPHY
Sunday 17th May saw the members play in the “Trevor Middleton” trophy.
This is 2 competitions in 1. With the lower handicappers playing for the Monthly Stableford and the higher handicappers (18 and above) playing for the trophy.
With the course in good condition and the weather forcasting, light showers the days play looked good for some great score to come back into the clubhouse.
True to the predictions the scores proved that some great golf was played throughout the competition.
The winner of the Monthly Stableford was Kevin Jacklin with 39pts.
The winner of the Trophy (18 and above) was David Proctor with a brilliant 36pts.
Well done to all for making this a well fought competition.

The winning team was Nick Bosher, Pete Laughlin & Ed Sandford with 64.7pts. This team wins a place in the Pro-Am to be held in September.
Adam Barker, Scott Barker and Mel Marks came a close second with 65.3pts
