After the day before the weather had inproved dramatically even though there was still a fair old wind blowing. However  today Meridian juniors were on form as all three matches were won, and in great style! This now means that Meridian progress to the next stage, with a home tie in store against either Ramsey or Girton.

Cambridge Meridian v’s St Ives Wednesday 27th May
For the Juniors it was their first match as a team. An overcast and very windy day caused problems for both teams. Overall Newmarket came out the better winning 2 & 1. Meridian juniors didn’t however go without a good fight winning one match 2 up and losing one of the matches on the 19th in a sudden death play off.
We wish Newmarket all the best in the next round.
